The quintessential sports bar, and my go-to spot for Buckeye games, The Third Place is located in West Park, in the Warren Village Plaza. With over a dozen tvs and one gigantic projector screen, there’s not a bad seat in the house and perhaps surprisingly, it’s family friendly in the restaurant area. Drive by this place on an NFL Sunday and you’ll see the west side’s love of football in person.

They run some great drink and food specials every day, and unlike a lot of bars, they’re open Monday-Sunday til 2:30 AM. Their pizza (Gionino’s) is first-rate and probably second only to Angelo’s as far as pizza on the west side goes. The wings are packed with flavor! My personal favorite item is the Deluxe Italian Sub. The Italian dressing is almost dripping off the meats. In reality though, I’ve never had a bad meal there. They even have pop-a-shot, skee ball, and of course Golden Tee and Keno for those a bit riskier.
